SAT
The SAT is a standardized test for college admissions in the US. The SAT is owned, published and developed by the College Board, a non profit organization in the US. The test is intended to assess a student’s readiness for college. This is most widely taken standardized written test in US for undergraduate admissions. SAT tests Critical Reading, Quantitative & Writing skills, SAT is conducted 6 times a year on specific dates. There is SAT Reasoning Test and SAT Subject Test as well.
The current SAT Reasoning Test, introduced in 2005, takes three hours and forty-five minutes to finish. Possible scores range from 600 to 2400, combining test results from three 800-point sections (Mathematics, Critical Reading and Writing).
SAT Subject Test (formerly SAT II: Subject Test) measure your knowledge and skills in particular subject areas, such as English, history, mathematics, science, and various foreign languages.
U.S. universities not only require the SAT Reasoning Test for admission, but often also require SAT Subject Tests in order to form a fuller picture of applicants’ academic background. Each Subject Test has a unique format. We can teach you the tricks and strategies you need to succeed!
